Ventura V-8 Region #84 was founded in the early 1970’s, joining the national organization starting with just a handful of early Ford v-8 enthusiasts. Region #84 has grown over the years, and includes a great group of members. Owning a wide variety of cars, trucks and tractors, we are quite a sight to see when we tour around California. We drive our 1932 to 1953 Fords products equipped with the venerable flathead motor to modern power trains. The Early Ford V-8 Club of America recognizes Fords from 1932 through 1953, including Ford, Lincoln, Mercury, commercial vehicles and tractors, along with other Ford powered vehicles built around the world.

Over the years Region #84 members have taken our classic Fords on many Sunday drives, to car shows, weekend trips and National Meets. In 1985, Ventura Region #84, along with San Fernando Valley V-8 Region #40, hosted a 4 day Western National Meet in Ventura County. This show brought into Ventura County over 250 vintage stock Ford vehicles, from the perfect to the not so perfect.

The overall purpose of our club is to preserve the history of Henry Ford’s dream and have fun doing it. Our cars show the love and pride that people have in their vintage cars, maintaining them and restoring them to factory original condition.

The Ventura V-8 Region #84 is part of the National Organization which has over 9,000 members in over 125 Regions. There are Regions in 8 different countries across the world working to preserve the history of the 1932 -1953 Ford vehicle.
